Yours of the 20th inst., with enclosure,
is just received, and I send ^herewith^ receipt for the latter, as requested.
As to the birds which you sent us
in June, 1884, I shall be glad to send you an exchange when I know what you want. Please send me a list of your de- siderata, and also your price for the speci- mens sent us, and I will give the matter the earliest attention possible. Very truly yours Robert Ridgway Curator Dept. Birds.
