about a week ago and sent you by the S. S. Portia a box contain- ing the skin of a full grown male Hood Seal - also a young harp of a peculiar kind. The Hood is very perfect and well prepared for stuffing; but I un- derstand that the skull is not forthcoming having been too much shat- tered to be preserved.
