Prof. Agardl in Sweden. The greatest modern authority. He has just sent me out a valuable present - a collection of all his works.

that your most excellent and valuable institution is flourishing. It should be regarded as of importance far beyond what mere dollars can measure - though I heartily wish you plenty of them in return for your arduous and honorable toil.
