The time has dragged wearily with me but I think the next two weeks will seem to go almost as quickly as the last one. I have met people aboard who have been in Auckland and I think I shall like the place quite well. judging from their descriptions. I have arrangements with some of the crew to stow fruit away for me and let me use of it when I want to so that will help matters with me. You see I think a great deal of my stomach. Have seen the albatros and tropic bird since I left Amer. but I could not secure them. Remember me to the boys at the shop if you please. I will try to get some suitable stamps for your daughter Alice. The temperature is delightful here. Goodbye until I reach Auckland. Very truly Yours C. F. Adams
