am compelled to take the ^part of the^ "well wisher", instead of the "well </u doer>", and am like the man who said "be ye warmed and fed", instead of warming and feeding. I hope you will look upon me as taking these parts through compulsion, and not from choice.

     I trust that the funds may

be forthcoming from some source so that the expedition may go on.

     Should anything occur to change the
