        Last winter after father's 

death I wrote you regarding the material you had on hand for the Museum I am sorry to say that it is absolutely necessary for us to come to a dead dead stand still for some time to come. Our expenses are far beyond our means & can see no brighter prospect ahead. Will you please therefore stop all you have from us as fast as practicable and send me back all unfinished material
