Sterling, Mont. Sept. 27/83 My dear Father: Yesterday P.M. I got back from an unsuccessful hunt on Norwegian and Willow Creek, North of here. I killed a deer - or at least gave it a death wound, as its running indicated. It went into a little patch of bushes and I am pretty sure never came out of them. Could find lots of blood- its tracks leading in but no deer and no trail out of the bushes. Mr. Housel had similar luck, breaking the shoulder of one.
