My ambition now is to secure a head whose lower jaw runs out into a snout thus [diagram of jaw], and another sort of Mosasauroid reptile, I have found fragments of both. I hope to dispose of all fossils, except duplicates, to Cornell Univ.— am completely "at sea" however about pricing. Like W(ard). + H(owell). I want to put on as much as they'll stand, but don't want to spoil the sale.
I am anxious to get word from Milwaukee— hope to hear that there was a clean sweep. I need a card from Henry a few days ago— he was just starting on a hunt into the mountains. I am hoping for a change of weather, as I
would like to remain here a month of six weeks longer.
Shall then go to New Mexico — just where I don't know, but probably somewhere south from Albuquerque. My condition
varies but little, but appetite is good, which is favorable.
It is needless to say that I am glad to get a line from you; but knowing how exceedingly busy you must be, I don't expect to hear very often. Hoping that all is prospering, I remain
