       I have made out ^Prof.^ Spencers

bill of original order. Do you wish the full amt. for boxing ($10.) in this bill? Do you wish me to get labels on blocks ready for Prof. Spencer? ^Sept. 8th^ Mr. Preston says the Pteropod was put in with Spencer's order. A box came this morning containing 12 turtles. We have rec'd no word in regard to them yet. Will write you when we do. I rec'd a card a few days ago from Henry, he wished me to forward any letter etc., that might come for him, to P. V. Jackson Esq. Sterling, Madison Co. Montana. ^He said^ that everything was going lovely at last and that sometime in distant future he would have an article ready for Bulletin. Truly yours, C. D.
