       I began work yesterday

morning after a very pleasant vacation. I enclose bill of "The United States National Museum also bill of Princeton College. The amount of the later bill $715.04 does not include $15. interest to Jany 1st 1883. Do you wish hours sent to E Gerrard Jr. as per enclosed letter? Shall I pay bill of Knox's Expense for $1.43? When we received the model of the Whale I paid .50cents or cartage, at this end. Mr. Bailly is on Gorilla skeleton Mr. Webster on Central Park work Mr. Storck, on Cambridge " I will pay the Democrat and Chronicle bill of $3- AKely will begin work tomorrow. The R R Co were instructed to send the bill of the Milwaukee shipment to L. F. and F. A. Ward's Office for for we wished to pay the freight here. But it was not done Truly yours, C. D. Chichester
