       Frau Erber will have written you that I

paid her the 3rd of this month the further sum of 250? = 100?; I had wished to pay the whole remaining sum far before the time agreed upon viz. end of august, and would have been enabled to do so, if I had not found a most disagreeable concurrence in ? and ? by Messrs Gregory and Sturtz. I had offered you to take all that was dis- posible of both meteorites and would you have done so, I have been alone with these two meteorites on the European market.
