I dare say you think
that I have forgoten that there ever existed such a </u fellow > as Hen - Ward or that I was ever acquainted with a </u chap > who went off to Wms Coll- to try and make great man of himself. You might as well try to blot out the stars of heaven as to efface from my mind the memory of days that are past. Our morning walks and excursions stick like a </u brother >. The sight of that </u old bag of corks >, which is laying out in the shed uncared for, always reminds me of the days of "Auld lang syne". Our Commencement exercises commence on the </s 14 > 11th of July, On Monday evening (the <.s 18 > 12th Sophomores declaim in Corinthian Hall, six being chosen from each society of whom your </u humble servant > is one there are to be three prizes to be contended for of what value they are to be I alas yet ignorant last year the 1st prize consisted of 14 vols among which </s was > were </s McCauley > Macaulay's and Hunus
