[written vertically at top and both sides- Ward dare I ask, so great a favor of a letter from you when you get stablished in a great Metropolis? I don't want our correspondence to cease My address will be Andover, Mass. I would not advise you to tarry at Newfoundland. I will tell you about it when we meet at Providence permit. kind note received last evening condemns me. I know </u now > that I ought to have written you before and am very sorry I did not.

simply this: Mr Hunt as I wrote you last sent me a very encouraging reply - con- sequent on his interview with Mr Wadsworth. He stated in that that he would write me again I waited a few weeks and received another letter in which he said that he had not then been able to get a sight
