Dear Professor Ward, Only a few lines to tell you that I am back and shall answer your favor of 12th june in full as soon as I can. But i have to make a trip in Germany for a short night and would not let you wait. [illegible] I only [illegible] once, but I will all arrange according your wishes. I need not to say how sorry I am about the whole affair, but what can I do?
