My dear Sir

    Did you ever have a good large

Photograph taken of the model you made of the Siberian Mammoth? If so will you send me one. Allen has probably sent you by this time the new List of Mammals for the Mammal Rooms He is at work on the Birds. When the Hume Cell arrives perhaps the simplest way will be to send it here and let Allen pick out what we want to have mounted. Of course I take it for granted you can get the latter and free of duty if not let me pass the boxes our usual way.

  I hope you  have not forgotten your promise

to send me your list of the Skeletons of humans that you have, of casts of the faces of heads of races for Mammal rooms. Yours truly A Agassiz
