July 3/83 My dear sir The distance between the rings ^lengthways^ to the ceiling is 12'-4" it seems to me the best way to hang the "Orca" is to sling it between the rings with a wire rope [unclear] tube [unclear] [not look?] well and would sag. By putting head where the tail of the large whale is you will thus fit bulk of weight between the rings. I shall send you the old walrus we have back in same box and you can credit me with whatever the price he is worth to you. A. Agassiz
