standing our wishes in respect to the unmounted birds skeletons.- one fore & o0ne bird lib ^to be^ articulated, the other not, etc.
As to Sea Otter - think we had better wait
for a full-grown one =
Mr. Nelson's collection, zI am told, num
bers about 1000 specimens - As to your proportion, I agree but if you will return Mr. Nelson's Memoranda I will make up from it a list of the species we wish. I have heard from Mr. Brewster some further particulars about the collection & Mr. Nelson's plans in reference to it - After you make your selection the remainder will probably go onto some skin-dealers birds in this vicinity, & I have no
