      Our museum has been removed during the last months from its former locali-

ty,which was very narrow and indecent but situated in the center of Santiago, to the palace built for the exhibition of last year, and this is the reason I did not open the box, which contained the skins etc. you sent me. I am very well satisfied with them.

     I got now from my minister the permission to demand from you for 500

dollars cost of fossils, and I have selected the following ones:
