Dear Mr. Lucas,
Your kind favor
came to hand when I was away in the country. I have no authority in the matter, & have been waiting for Mr. Agassiz. Finding he is not - soon to be here I have sent him your letter, & he will probably answer it. For my part I should like very much to have [Mine moment.]
