Dear Prof. Ward,

  Enclosed is letter from Mr. Garman

about alcoholics and list of Bornean fish which he asks for. The snakes are from Sadong and Sibouyaw Rivers, N. W. Borneo. Please return list of rejecta to me. The value of specimens kept by Mr. Garman amounts to $117.25. Have no time for more as I am packing Meg. which I hope to ship this P. M. We are having snow and ice; hope you are warmer.

P.S. The specimens marked Queensland which Mr. Garman has made out N. A. came from C. C. Smith or else came at same time from some one else. Think they </u must > have come from Smith as style of bottles alcohol etc is same as others sent by him. Only had time to cast </u one>, Glyptoden. Do you intend to have Restorations finished here, or
