nwh 20th Oct 1876 Prof. Ward. Dear Sir, I have a few mammals and bird skins, 10 in all, that I wish to have stuffed and mounted. The skulls ^of the former^ have been entirely removed, but very carefully done, and the specimens will require skillfull handling so as to have the heads in proper shape. They come from the Zoological Society of London, and doubtless you have had such skins sent to you before, so that you can let me know with- out seeing them whether you have a workman who is capable of mounting them in a satisfactory manner. None of the specimens are large, and, if your reply is satis- factory, I will forward the stands, that are being made, in the same case with the skins Truly Your's G. E. Manigault
