July 2nd containing your offer to sub- scribers has just come to hand. I should be glad to give $10. for a 5 - years subscription to the </u Weekly Tribune > and a copy of the Dictionary you mention if it would be acceptable at this late date. I note that your offer holds good until Sept 1st only: but perhaps you may be willing to make an exception in my favor owing to the great distance I am from home, and this is the best I can do toward taking advantage of your very liberal offer.
