this trip as far as is possible as well as your business in general. I shall not want Mr Lucas till your return if I do then and please say so to him. I hope to make assign= ments to have him sometime late in the present year. I wrote to him and asked him to have my entire account with you made up to January first 81. And I wish you would have it sent to me as soon as you can possibly, as I may arrange for its Immediate settlement. In entire confidence I want to say to you that Mr Bailey has written to as president of the Taxidermists Society and asking to look out for a place for him. I do not think I can further this, but had to reply that I would have the matter in mind. He wanted a salary of 2400.00. You know I do not want such a man myself but I think his wish was that I might make him an offer. Please do not mention this to anyone. When do you go to Australia?
