Your letter of the 28th
June came in my absence from the city, My book keeper tells me that he sent you the skin of a Rhinoceros Hornbill as requested.
The adult female
Rhinoceros Hornbill does not differ from the male in plumage, but the bill and casque are not black posteriorly and there is no black line running from the nostril up the middle of the casque, as in the male.
In regard to the coloring of
the bill & casque, I think you will find that the colors are retained fairly well in the speciusler suit. Bill
