    I received in due course

your interesting letter in reference to Prof White' casts of fossils, which he thinks may be presented to the University of Virginia, if it were known that suitable accommoda- tions would be provided for their preservation, and unenjoment for use.

    I think, not with standing the term

of my self and my colleages of the Board of Visitors has approached its end, and there is every reason to anticipate that there will be an entire change in the personel of the Board, that I am justified
