Cambridge Dec. 11, 1875 Dr. Barnard Dear Sir Yours of December 9 is at hand. At present I have not enough specimens to supply the orders which I have received. Have made arrangements to do a couple months collecting next summer when I shall have finished the work which I have engaged to do. I shall collect for my and other parties. Could probably promise Prof. Ward Sea urchins, Starfish, [?] (alive), [?], Sharks, skates, a limited number of [?], Floating Barnacles and squid. All or nearly all of my dredging material I should probably return myself. Expect to hire a man and boat during the whole summer. Have already made arrangements with
