My dear Sir, I am relieved
to know that you have not accepted my offer. I now withdraw it. as I have a good prospect of getting a manatee from South America - in a few weeks - a Chicago Dr. traveling down there tells me he has secured two fine specimens.
Enclosed you will find a list of skeletons
on which you ^will^ please mark your lowest prices.
and I want them all disarticulated, but,
bleached ready for mounting. ^excepting the ligar? skeletons, which will^ and let me
^take in the rough^. know how much you will allow me
for the Gorilla and other skeletons. = and also if
you will take the Chimpanzee skeleton you saw
with the shattered jaw, in the truck and at
what price? = I have now formed the
patetlae, and also the hyoid bone of that
Gorilla skeleton. = You sent me the prices
