Prof Ward -
I owe you an apology for not writing but the reason for not doing so is simply I have been expecting to do better by going myself & seeing you in person but have been unavoidably kept at-home. I have written Prof Taft today asking him if he expects to be in Phila. during the first ten days of May, ff he is I will have him inspect & inform me. Possibly I may be there myself. When everything is all right I shall forward you a check on NewYork for $1200. Should I go east, I shall leave here Monday the 8th of May. Will telegraph you during the first week of May whether I go or not. Will direct to Rochester and if you are not there message can be forwarded -
