Hand change January/76 Of course I was prepared to make a regular campaign for the special ? of animals, residing in the vicinity of their haunts for a ^month or^ so, I might do for better: and at the same time seems much desirable material in other departments.

     Through some provoking mismanage-

ment in N. Y. I am tied up for want of funds. I have promises enough, but have not recd. one dollar from there since last April. I am in corispondance with a party in N.Y. for the purpose of placing my business in the hands of an agt who will have time to attend to it.
