have a careful description written of each one of the 300 for my NH Report using the mictoscope, polarized light etc, and publish a great many illustrations of them, photographs if possible, as seen under the microscope. Then I shall have with each set offered for sale 100 or 200 slides mounted & ready for study ^with that part of the report relative to them^ I have taken great pains to select the most typical localities in the state It is possible it may be best to reduce the number - but I don't see it in that light now. I can let you have one of those sets if you wish, in- stead of the lot I have now laid aside for you what came from both NH & Vt & are not so carefully selected. The slides I have made to order at 85 cents each & have not calculated for more than 200 of them for the grinder. I shall get off the map the last of the week You are thinking of my brother in regard to Indian relics - I have none Truly yrs C. H. Hitchcock It is pretty clear our late Breanisor defaulted Experts & his friends cannot show where $85,000 has gone to - though the investigation is not over yet.
