let the newspaper Correspondent put in Rochester. I am so much afraid some Confounded Newspaper Correspondent will get to work to search out the traces of our liberal friend and violate his wishes in publishing it. I made two papers which quoted the paragraph from the Enquirer leave out the Rochester & say 'a gentleman from N York'. This may make the matter tide over. with out farther curious investigation into the name. I had cautioned Walker, but you know how those gentlemen in Washington are with the Newspaper men.
