[another hand -Christchurch, N.Z., June 21 with 30 pounds,] My dear Professor I wrote to you some weeks ago to Melbourne, but have mot heard from you [?] As soon as the Moa skeletons have come into my possession again I shall make them ready for transmission to you & I am sure you will be satisfied with them, as they with the exceptions of a ^very^ few, small bones, to be replaced by casts, the whole will go as you have seen it in Melbourne. Since you left, I have found
