30. In reply I will say that I have brought the matter up and it has been referred to a Committee. So far as I know we hope to recuperate our finances this winter by a course of lectures to later place Dec., Jan., & Feb. I feel sure that the disposition is to pay you as soon as possible. The feeling is that while the Society regrets its poverty that they expect from you as much consideration as possible since they have bought your casts formerly and paid for them. I think you have waited long & should be paid and I shall be so much happier
