and purposes, I feel that it
may be a favor to him to
have me say that I am well
acquainted with your casts
from the largest to the smallest
and hold them in the highest
esteem for educational purposes
and that I believe some of the
largest which you furnish placed
in the new Hall at Middletown
would form in view of the
surroundings, the most imposing
exhibition of the "Ancient World"
to be seen in all New England,
and would constitute a
memorable and fitting culmination
of Mr. Judd's munificence towards
his Alma Mater and mine.
I have long desired some of
your Casts for our Museum
here and I shall continue
my efforts to secure them
