skulls of indians for you, but in that will have to be cautious _ Some years ago I procured a couple which were forwarded to my brother a graduate of New York School and who was afterwards at Randall Island Hospital. On the west coast of Vancouver there

is a tribe  of Flat heads or rather

compressed heads. Their skulls are elongated by bandages and similar in shape to a sugar loaf - It is difficult to obtain their skeletons - as they are very jealous and deposit their dead in caves by the Sea Side _ However I have a friend who is trading among them and shall write to him to endeavor to obtain me one-
