       Dear Sir,
           In our museum

we have numerous specimens of casts made by you, & on some of them the paint has been defaced so that they need a little touching up -

       Presuming that you have paint

mixed in right proportions & of uniform color (a dark reddish brown).

I write to ask you to send us a

small package (a pint would do) of the paint. We will gladly refund you for expense - Respectfully yours
