[page 2] reach here tomorrow eve We have all been quite well and things have gone on the same routine as when you were here - I hope Mrs Ward will be pleased with our house-keeping and find things as well done as they would have been had she have been here - Martha is a very good girl and does her part well - Henry is very closely confined to his studies and is not quite as free from dyspepsia as I could wish. How glad we all were to hear from you to day I could hardly wait to cut the envelope for your father. He says please send him a paper once in a while.
