Different hand Right margin Henry Aug. '81 Cinci. O. Aug.. 20 1881 My Dear father,
Yours of the 14 ult. duely
received and appreciated.
As you have probably noticed in my
previous letter Uncle Edd has seen fit to bring me here to Cininnati.
I was not surprised to find this a rather
uninteresting city, and I cared little about that as I have had scarcely any time to "do" the town. My great desire to come on here was to have a change and learn more about mounting the Meg. Mammoth Elephas etc.
I am satisfied that I am now able to mount
them all without any skilled assistance.
Since the meeting of the A. A. A. S. commenced
I have been busy disposing of catalogs (pho^e^netic) and tending exhibit. During the dull times, when the room is empty, I have been posting up by reading the catalogs so as to be able to answer in a satisfactory manner the innumerable questions asked by visitors.
