Dear Father: It is a long time since I wrote you last, but though so much time has passed but little of interest has occurred that I am aware of.
I had pretty good success at the last examinations, end of seccond term.
In Latin I stood 80%; Composition and Reading 90%; Algebra 95%. I do not know how I stood in Nat Philosophy but in all probability 100% as they allowed 5 honorary questions. Counting Philosophy at 100%, these studies would give me an average of 91±%, which taken all in satisfies any expectations.
We finished Philosophy last term and will take up Chemistry this.
School closed as far as I was concerned Apr. 14.; but my studies kept me busy until the 19th. when I went into the country for 3 days. Since then I have been laid up
