I have just finished the examination
and from what I know of my standing have stood quite fairly.
I missed 4 out of 25 questions in Algebra, but as
it was a pretty bad examination that is first rate, making me above a good many of the scholars that were there during
the entire year. Mr. Allen and Miss Bodger said it was
"splendid;" so I think I have done pretty well.
I have just been writing a long letter to a friend in
Barbados, so I don't feel very much in the mood for letter
writing. Do you remember the course of lectures
to be delivered by Prof. Gilmore on literature?
You said that Charlie and I ought to attend them. I forgot to speak to you about it before you left; what do you think about it? The course is $5 for 20 lectures, do you think that you can spare the money?
