       I received your kind

letter of April 13th. which was very welcome for I have thought a good deal of your cheery visits & wished I could have seen more of you, however let that wish stand over for full satisfaction on a future time.

       Now first to business I duly

received your P. O. O. for L 2 but can hardly carry out your wishes in the way you suggest by sending out a dray to obtain them in for they are hardly as plentiful as you fancy, however you ask me to get "some wide - awake young man" to go out & obtain them. Now if you fancy I can fill
