Will you please kindly inform me whether you
are in want of prepared birdskins & animals (not mounted only stuffed) from Java? If so what are your prices for large and small birdskins (land & water) and animals? delivered to you at the custom House in N. York or elsewhere, I paying freight from here.
Should you yourself do not trade in above
subjects, will you kindly furnish me with a list of names of Museums, Institutions or private parties who would like to deal in them, as I would like to be in connection with someone in the U. S. who handle in the above subjects.
It's very unfortunate, when you were here, that I
was not aware of your standing, to speak more fully about this matter.
By mail please receive a tin case containing
sample of prepared birdskin, any suggestions you can give me regarding stuffing and preparing skins will be thankfully appreciated.
Enclosed please find 48 cents postage stamps for your
catalogue of skins & mounted specimens.
I should like to act here as Agent to some Museum
etc. etc. in buying up Natural? objects, and with that view
