Rochester, N. Y. My dear Sir: In
conjunction with some parties here I am investigating the subject of the manufacture of Grape Sugar and learning that there is a company in your place, which has a small mill there, and are building quite a large one at Kansas City, Mo. I have thoug= ht that you can possibly, without too great inconvenience to yourself, obtain some facts and points which may be of value to me. You will know how to do this far better than I can tell you. A Mr Warner is President of the Com= pany formed in your city and has, I learn, some of your shrewdest Capitalists and men of business associated with him.
