    Rochester, NY      My dear Sir:
                       I am just back form the

mountains and am delighted to find your favor of the 22' novbr and hasten to reply by the very first mail. Hope this will reach you before you leave home.

        My Wife is at the Palace Hotel San Francisco. Go to see her

at once on your arrival as she will be gad to see you and may be of service to you with the Le Counts, President and Professor of University of California.

       I have learned that you can get stages from El Paso through

Chihuahua to city of Mexico. Come here prepared to spend at least a week – Can show you many thins of interest. both in the way of old things and new ones too.

       Have but a moment to get this in the mail – will write you again.
