    Before sending

on the head & after I had written you I learned that the head had been cut off about mid way between the head & the shoulder in which case of course you will be unable to leave the neck long as requested in my last letter neither will you require the large shield. However I wish the neck </u left as long as the skin will allow >. I presume you mount birds as well as animals in which case I have some rare Australian & New Zealand birds & skins which I Shall probably want you th mount. Yours very truly R H McCormick for L. J.
