Lucas Dear Sir, Professor Ward wrote me before leaving for Australia ask ing that I have some sirens and am- phuima collected for him this spring, about 50 of each. I now send you by express today one keg containing 27, of which some few are amphuima They cost 10 cts a piece and vary from 15 to 18 inches in size. I think that you will find them satisfactory, but you had better examine them as soon as received, as they may require more alcohol. I will send you another keg in about a month and then we can balance our account I hope you wrote to Prof Ward
