Dear Prof. Ward.
Enclosed is a list of
the additional skeletons sent to San Francisco. I wish you had ordered a little more definitely in regard to what you wanted and how many. This is the first time I ever knew of skeletons being ordered by the hundred weight. Your telegram an- ticipated your letter by a number of days and I had packed a supplemental series in one box thinking this would suffice. Now that you say you can use all small skeletons that do not duplicate those sent in first shipment I will forward another lot on Monday. These latter are marked 11 in list and it may be ne- cessary to leave out one or two birds. Please have Mr. Howell unpack the skeletons as they are packed in a complicated and careful manner and will need much care in unpacking. I trust that these extra skeletons will reach you in good
