A word in regard to Bulletin
Staebner predicts three things. First that it will not be out on time; second that it will not be satisfactory to the subscribers and third that it will not be satisfactory to the editors. With all due respect for S. I would prefer not to have his predictions verified; but at the same time feel that there is much danger of their coming true. I wish that your Megapod next had waited for number 3 but perhaps you have something else in reserve. I have ready so far Notes on Common Names in Natural History and two or three short notes, and also an illustrated article on the Walrus which went to Australia. For this we were going to obtain from the Gov't Printing Office two of the curious copies of old figures of the Walrus, but found an application that they had been mislaid. Therefore I propose to draw them and have them engraved unless you specify otherwise.
