them finished up. Nearly all of the small skeletons for Cambridge are cleaned or else in jars being de-greased. Prof. Asborn of Princeton expressed himself as well pleased with the Amphibian skeletons. Mr. Howell writes that Central Park may wish some more work done; but does not intimate what kind of work it is. Bierstadt wished another Mt. Sheep head and finally took it although we charged $60, for it owing to the fact that a skin had to be sacrificed. These are all the orders in at present. The Smithsonian stuffed lot is nearly ready to go and as soon as it is finished Wood can go on the Cambridge birds also. George still adheres to his determination to leave in June. If Martens does not come back Will and I will stuff teh Rhinoceros and he shall be a good one. Doubtless however after Martens has got fairly settled and in running order he will be back again. I hope you may pick up an Emu and also a Cassowary or two. Also Aptery and Memtelli. With best wishes for your trip [Cremem?] Very truly your's Frederic A. Lucas
As soon as Ramm's models come we can send off those which were ordered by Dr. Jayne of Phila. Warsaw Union School also wants some, and also the Bartavia Just. for the Blind.
