deliberately do things wrong I am not willing to admit. Theoretically a man ought not to praised for doing a thing well, but practically I find that most people like a few words of encouragement when they have succeeded in some undertaking and I confess that I come in with most people & find it a little dispiriting to never get a word of praise for my work that has been done. The Seals I have not had time to open. The snakes you can not afford to give very much for Four are Eutaenia - full grown, but common. The "Reacer" is a C.cenfluentes. Has 7 rattles but is small. Should not think the lot worth more than $3. or $3.50, Express, 65c Enclosed is address of a gentleman who was at shop yesterday P. M. He wishes to know your best figure on Auzoux's female manikin and what the freight and duty would be. It will be necessary to write at once as he does not know what his address will be after the coming week. Said he should soon order some R. & S. models and noted what were on hand. By the way when are some more models coming ? There are a number lacking & I thought you ordered them long ago. They ought to be kept on hand right along. The entire College Series with ex- ception of slab of tracks is now cast, and the Supplement except Wy. Will look up a moulder to--morrow & have two Megs made. Your's very truly. Frederic A. Lucas
